When the three members of Japanese indie pop band Lamp first heard 1960s British and American rock-and-roll, they were hooked. Now, they're touring the world like some of their favorite bands, and they're coming to North America later this year on their 'Future Behind Me' Tour.
Lamp, consisting of guitarist Taiyo Someya and vocalists/multi-instrumentalists Yusuke Nagai and Kaori Sakakibara, has 29 different concerts lined up on their U.S. and Canadian tour. It begins in early October in California and concludes right after Thanksgiving in New York City.

The band has TikTok to thank for their international fame — 20 years after the trio formed, they went viral in 2021 after their song "Yme Utsutsu" ("Half Asleep) was used in multiple TikTok videos which went viral. After that, their music began spreading across the globe, making them a hit in the U.S.
