Before the WNBA’s latest franchise debuts in Canada, basketball will be played in Vancouver on August 15. The Atlanta Dream and the Seattle Storm will play a regular-season game at the Rogers Arena.
The game comes before the Toronto Tempo arrive in 2026.
The Storm is stacked, featuring Skylar Diggins and Nneka Ogwumike. While without Jewell Loyd following a trade, Seattle has the returning Gabby Williams, Ezi Magbegor, and added Erica Wheeler and No. 2 draft pick Dominique Mologna.
The Storm are familiar with the WNBA Canada Game, playing the Sparks in 2024.
