The Steelers will host the Seahawks in Pittsburgh's home opener in Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season. It will mark the first official Steelers game for four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers and former Seahawk Pro Bowler DK Metcalf.
Rodgers signed with Pittsburgh in early June after months of uncertainty, and the future Hall of Famer will look to lead Mike Tomlin's squad back to the playoffs for the 13th time in the head coach's 19-year tenure. The Steelers have never had a losing season under Tomlin. Rodgers, meanwhile, has a career record of 153-87-1 as a starter.
The Seahawks also have a new leader under center. Sam Darnold will be leading the charge for Seattle, after the veteran enjoyed a career year with the 14-3 season Vikings. The Pro Bowler will look to build off that breakout campaign and capitalize on Seahawks weapons like Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Kenneth Walker III.

The Steelers narrowly lead the all-time series against the Seahawks 11-10, and this should be quite the tussle at Acrisure Stadium.
