The top two players in the world, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, are set for a French Open final showdown on Sunday.
Alcaraz has had an excellent campaign and is attempting to become the first player since compatriot Rafael Nadal in 2020 to defend his Roland Garros title successfully.
Despite facing a tough ordeal against Lorenzo Mussetti in the semifinal, Alcaraz rallied after losing the first set to win the next two, before his opponent retired with a leg injury. This is the second successive French Open championship for the Spaniard, who has a 4-0 record in grand slam finals.

Meanwhile, Sinner hit the ground running after coming back from a three-month doping suspension. The World No 1 is yet to drop a set into the tournament and scored a a dominant 6-4, 7-5, 7-6 victory over Novak Djokovic on Friday to enter his first final at Roland Garros. He will now aim to win his third consecutive major, having won the 2024 US Open and 2025 Australian Open.
While Sinner has looked the better of the two over the course of this tournament, Alcaraz has got the better of him in the last four occasions they've met, including the 2025 Italian Open final recently.
