Tottenham roll out the welcome mat for Crystal Palace in a capital clash this weekend, though there’s more than just bragging rights on the line—barely.

One side still harbors slim hopes of crashing the top-half party, while the other is doing everything it can to steer clear of the relegation trapdoor. It’s been a rough ride domestically for both, but with major silverware on the horizon, this showdown might take a back seat.

Spurs come into the derby fresh off booking a ticket to an all-English Europa League final showdown with Manchester United after brushing past Bodø/Glimt. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have a date with destiny against Manchester City at Wembley in the FA Cup final next weekend.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace predicted lineups, team news

Tottenham’s midweek triumph over Bodo/Glimt came with a slight bump in the road, as Brennan Johnson limped off in the second half with a knock. Thankfully for Spurs, there’s no red alert surrounding the Welshman’s condition, though he’s likely to be wrapped in cotton wool this weekend regardless.

The injury bug, however, hasn’t stopped nipping at Ange Postecoglou’s squad. James Maddison has now joined Lucas Bergvall and Radu Dragusin in the unfortunate end-of-season club after picking up a knee issue in the first leg of the Europa League semifinal. And while Son Heung-min continues to wrestle with a nagging foot problem, his status for the Palace clash remains up in the air.

Still, Spurs have a few aces up their sleeve. Mathys Tel and young Mikey Moore—who’s rarely been seen in recent weeks—are both ready to answer the call if Son remains sidelined. For what it’s worth, the Spurs skipper has made a habit of tormenting Palace in the past, bagging nine Premier League goals against them—second only to his tally against Southampton.

Tottenham predicted lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Vicario (GK) — Gray, Danso, Davies, Spence — Kulusevski, Bentancur, Sarr — Odobert, Tel, Moore.

Injured: Brennan Johnson, James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall and Radu Dragusin, Son Heung-min (doubt).
Suspended: None.

Both Oliver Glasner and Ange Postecoglou are all too familiar with the headache of seeing key midfielders go down, and this time it’s Palace’s Adam Wharton who’s landed in the treatment room with an ankle tweak suffered during the stalemate with Nottingham Forest.

The youngster limped off just past the hour mark, and while initial hopes were that it was nothing too serious, he’s officially ruled out for Sunday’s derby.

With the FA Cup final fast approaching, the Eagles are racing against the clock to get the former Blackburn man patched up in time for Wembley. For now, though, he’ll watch from the sidelines alongside long-term absentees Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucouré, both nursing knee injuries.

In Wharton’s absence, the door opens for either Will Hughes or Jefferson Lerma to slot in next to Daichi Kamada—who, after a quiet start to life in south London, has suddenly muscled his way into Glasner’s plans with a run of strong displays.

Crystal Palace predicted lineup (3-4-2-1, right to left): Henderson (GK) — Richards, Lacroix, Guehi — Munoz, Hughes, Kamada, Mitchell — Eze, Sarr — Mateta.

Injured: Adam Wharton, Chadi Riad, Cheick Doucouré.
Suspended: None.
