Former Manchester United player Paul Scholes has given his thoughts on a must-sign player for Ruben Amorim. The ex-midfielder sent a clear message to his former club amidst a summer overhaul.
The team needs strengthening in almost every position, but the attack is a particular area of concern for Amorim.
Who did Scholes urge Man Utd to buy?
Scholes wants Amorim to activate Eberiche Eze's £68m release clause from Crystal Palace. The young winger has certainly impressed Scholes and football fans around the world.
After England's match against Senegal, Scholes posted a picture on Instagram of Eze in an England jersey and said, "Just buy him."
Scholes has the right idea for what United need in an attacker. Eze tallied an impressive 25 goal involvements this season, 14 of those being goals, something that Man Utd are clearly lacking.

Despite England's 3-1 loss, Eze managed a complete 90 minutes and impressed Scholes enough to implore United to make the signing. Eze dazzled throughout the season, and perhaps his best contribution came during the FA Cup final when he scored against Manchester City.
Eze has the ability to take defenders on, and he's also lethal when it comes to freekicks. The Englishman has Premier League experience and has proven he can play on the biggest stage.
With Matheus Cunha already signing, and Bryan Mbeumo's arrival looking better every day, adding Eze would surely make United's attack look even more threatening.
