Bruno Fernandes might soon be swapping the Premier League for the Pro League. The Manchester United captain’s future is up in the air, and it looks like his next chapter could be written in Saudi Arabia.
His agent, Miguel Pinho, has reportedly met with representatives from Al-Hilal, the Saudi giants eager to land a major star before their Club World Cup campaign.
With Fernandes currently on United’s post-season tour in Asia, the timing of these talks has added fuel to the transfer fire.
At 30, Fernandes is still at the top of his game. He scored 19 goals this season — more than any other United player.
After a thoroughly disappointing season that saw the club slump to 15th in the league and falter in Europe once again, a shake-up now seems inevitable.
And Fernandes might be the biggest domino to fall.

How much could Man Utd receive from selling Bruno Fernandes?
Al-Hilal are said to be ready with a massive offer. The fee could go as high as £100 million, and his wages would reportedly double.
For a player who signed a new deal just last year running until 2027, it’s a big swing — but one that might tempt both sides.
United are understood to be calm about the situation. Manager Ruben Amorim, speaking during the Asia tour, praised his captain but left room for possibility.
“You can see by his performances. You can see by his leadership. You can see the passion he has for the game. In difficult moments, Bruno is the guy who takes responsibility. He should do because he is the captain,” Amorim said.
Fernandes hasn’t ruled anything out. After the Europa League final loss to Spurs, he hinted that the club might want to “cash in” on him.
And if this move happens, it could open the door for a summer rebuild at Old Trafford — or should we say, a midfield reboot?
