Arsenal have been busy in the opening weeks of the summer transfer window with Christian Nørgaard, Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga all arriving at the Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has also ben heavily linked with a move to North London with Mikel Arteta also confident a deal for Viktor Gyökeres is imminent.

With so many players coming in, Arsenal will also need to generate funds through selling some of their excess players, and that is Arteta's next objective in preseason.

One Arsenal star has come to the attention of the Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich as Vincent Kompany continues his search for a new left-sided attacker.

Which Arsenal star does Bayern Munich want?

Bayern Munich are firmly in the market for a new winger, and Leandro Trossard is rumoured to be on their transfer wish list, according to BILD

The German club are also monitoring Liverpool's Luis Diaz, with an offer submitted for the Colombian, but Liverpool are reluctant to let him go.

Bayern Munich have also shown interest in Marcus Rashford, but Barcelona are the the front runners in the race for the Manchester United outcast.

That latest setback has nudged Kompany towards Trossard, who has under a year remaining on his Arsenal contract.

Trossard faces competition from Gabriel Martinelli for a starting spot and Madueke's addition could see the Belgian side even further down the pecking order.

Trossard, who moved to Arsenal in 2023, wants regular playing time, and a move away could provide him with just that.

Bayern Munich are in clear need of new faces, after losing Thomas Müller, Mathys Tel, and Leroy Sane, and being hit by Jamal Musiala's latest injury at the FIFA Club World Cup.
