The San Antonio Spurs used a huge 46-point third quarter to take control against the Celtics as they cruised to a 120-11 win at the AT&T Center.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the way with 32 points, nine rebounds and five assists, while Derrick White added a career-high 22 points on 8-of-9 shooting. DeMar DeRozan recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, 11 assists and two steals.

San Antonio started the game slowly, shooting 22% from the field in the opening quarter, scoring just 17 points. After trailing 52-49 at half-time, the Spurs shot the lights out in the third quarter, hitting 19-of-25 shots, including all five of their three-pointers. They took control of the game behind a 21-2 run to take a 14-point lead.

Back-to-back three-pointers from Terry Rozier cut the deficit to 86-78, but the Spurs took a 10-point lead into the fourth and held their advantage to move to 21-17 on the season.

For the Celtics, Jaylen Brown scored a team-high 30 points, while Marcus Morris added 18 and Kyrie Irving 16.

Patty Mills chipped in 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from deep, impacting the game on both ends, with some impressive defence against Kyrie Irving.


After today's loss, the Celtics finish their three-game road trip with a 1-2  record, sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference at 21-15.
