Does Canada play at 4 Nations Face-Off today? Schedule, time, channel for next hockey tournament game image

After opening play at the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off Wednesday night with an overtime win against Sweden, Canada will enjoy a two-day reprieve before relacing their skates.

Canada's next game is a heavyweight clash against the United States on Saturday evening. It will be the first matchup between the two rivals in a best-on-best setting since the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

These sort of international hockey tournaments are Canada's forte: The nation has won nine of the 13 best-on-best tournaments played among the Canada Cup, World Cup of Hockey, and Winter Olympics.

A talented and star-studded roster has raised hopes this year, too. Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, and Sidney Crosby are among the NHL's elite skating for Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

The Sporting News gets you set for Canada's next game, with everything that you need to know about their upcoming schedule.
