Before suiting up for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Week 2 preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, the veteran quarterback FaceTimed his alma mater, Miami Northwestern High School (Florida). Bridgewater appeared on the call wearing his Buccaneers jersey the night before tossing two touchdown passes against the Steelers.

The call with Bridgewater came before Miami Northwestern's matchup against Lakeland High School (Florida). In the preseason game, the Northwestern Bulls defeated the Dreadnaughts 40-3.
As for Bridgewater's night in the 17-14 win vs. the Steelers, he completed 6 of 11 passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
