Emeka Egbuka was widely regarded as one of the safest players available in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him with their first round selection, landing what everyone believed would be a sturdy slot receiver out of Ohio State.
But it turns out the Bucs have bigger plans for Egbuka. He's going to be more than a slot guy.
"He just embodies everything we believe in here when it comes to being selfless, tough disciplined, being able to play multiple positions," offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard said, via Bucs Wire.
Egbuka is certainly capable of doing pretty much everything as a wide receiver.
Especially down the road, the Bucs will likely rely on him all over the field.

En route to a 2024 national title, Egbuka had 81 catches for 1,011 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Buckeyes.
He'll get to learn in Tampa Bay from future Hall of Famer Mike Evans and established veteran Chris Godwin.
Egbuka can sort of slot in like Jaxson Smith-Njigba did in Seattle a couple years ago out of OSU. JSN learned from DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett before becoming a rising star.
If Egbuka does the same, the Buccaneers will be very happy.
