Tariq 'Riq' Woolen is heading into a huge season.
The Seattle Seahawks' uber-talented 6-foot-4 cornerback is into the last year of his contract. His free agency payday will depend a lot on what he does in 2025.
Woolen has been a bit of an enigma for Seattle after starring as a rookie but being inconsistent the past couple of seasons.
ESPN's Bill Barnwell writes that Woolen could be paid more than $20 million per year in a free agent deal, if he plays well this season.
"Cornerbacks with Woolen's size and physical traits aren't easy to come by -- he was the only 6-4 corner to start a game last season -- and big defensive backs who can play are always going to be in demand," Barnwell writes.

Woolen did have pressure placed upon him early. He matched Seattle legend Richard Sherman with his 6-foot-4 height and his fifth-round draft status.
Phenomenal play as a rookie only raised the bar for Woolen, and since, he's been unable to quite return to that level.
Woolen's future, and the Seahawks' present, will depend a lot on how he performs in 2025.
