Going into the first round of the 2025 NFL draft, there was a bit of a divide among Pittsburgh Steelers fans about what the team should do with its No. 21 overall selection.

Some Steelers fans wanted to see the team take a quarterback with its first pick, while others wanted the team to address another glaring need, which came at defensive line.

Ultimately, the Steelers chose the latter and took Oregon defensive lineman Derrick Harmon with the No. 21 overall pick, which leaves the team even more dependent on Aaron Rodgers.

One of the fans who wanted the Steelers to draft Sanders was left devastated after the team decided to go with Harmon. The fan revealed it was his birthday wish for his squad to nab the Colorado product, and his reaction was about what you'd expect for someone who wanted Sanders as badly as he did.

Thankfully, it was all caught on camera.

Theoretically, the Steelers can still draft Sanders, seeing as how he's on the board on the second day of the NFL draft. However, the Steelers don't have a second-round pick and it's highly unlikely he'll fall all the way to Pittsburgh at No. 83 overall.

Sanders could come off the board relatively quickly on Friday night. The Cleveland Browns still need a quarterback and own two picks in the first four of Round 2. The Las Vegas Raiders are also a team that could draft Sanders at No. 37.
