The Cleveland Browns have begun their rookie minicamp with much speculation surrounding one pick in particular. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders was taken in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft after an unprecedented slide. However, what's done is done and all that the polarizing quarterback can do now is make every team regret on passing on him by showing what he can do on the field. According to Zac Jackson of The Athletic, Sanders is already looking like a man on a mission.
During seven-on-seven team drills, Jackson noted that Sanders looked good throwing the ball in his first taste of any sort of live action with the Browns.
"Some 7 0n 7 now," Jackson said on X. "This Number 12 can throw it a little bit."
Should Sanders impress throughout the offseason and into preseason play, it's a safe bet he will have a prime spot on the depth chart and be able to start games in 2025 for the Browns.
