Upsets were once again the flavor of the day on Sunday, as six underdogs won outright (Falcons, Steelers, Patriots, Jets, Giants, and Seahawks). Out of those six squads, Pittsburgh was the biggest underdog on the entire slate, getting 10 points against the Buccaneers ahead of a 20-18 victory. We also saw the Falcons stay undefeated against the spread (6-0) with their 14-point win over the 49ers. Will this trend continue in Week 7?

This week, we have a much better Thursday Night Football matchup than the previous two weeks, as the Saints are heading out to the desert to play the Cardinals. On Sunday, we have an interesting 12-game slate where bettors will be able to find some angles on player props, sides, totals, and moneylines, especially with four high-quality teams on bye (Rams, Eagles, Bills, Vikings).

To wrap up Week 7, we have a mediocre Monday Night Football matchup between the Bears and Patriots in Foxboro. However, bettors will find a way to get some betting action in for this game. The Patriots are 7.5-point favorites after defeating the Browns 38-15 for their second consecutive win. Meanwhile, Chicago is looking to bounce back after their horrible TNF loss to the Commanders.

Please remember that the odds and lines will move throughout the week as we get updates on various injuries across the league. There could be some opportunity for closing line value (CLV) in a few games leading up to kickoff. Below, we take a look at the latest odds for Week 7 from Caesars Sportsbook and provide a few best bets that need to be on your radar.

NFL best bets for Week 7

Giants (+3) vs. Jaguars

The Giants are proving to the NFL world that they are contenders and not pretenders under first-year head coach Brian Daboll. New York has won three-straight games, including Sunday's four-point win over the Ravens. The Giants will now go on the road in Week 7 to play a Jacksonville team that has lost three consecutive games by an average of 7.3 points. This game will likely be a defensive battle, as both teams are giving up fewer than 20 points per game through six weeks. The Jaguars boast the better run defense, only allowing 89.3 yards per game, while the Giants are giving up 144.8 yards. However, I don't think the Jags are three points better than Giants heading into this matchup. If New York's defense can pressure Trevor Lawrence and force him into turnovers, they'll have a chance to keep this game close. New York is 4-0 ATS as an underdog this season.

Chiefs (-1) vs. 49ers

For the second-straight week, we will pick against the 49ers, who return home after a beatdown by the Falcons. Kansas City is also looking to bounce back after losing by four at home to the Bills. Kansas City's secondary has a tough challenge ahead of them as it tries to slow down the trio of Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle. The Chiefs are 1-4 against the spread in their past five games and 0-5 straight up in their past five meetings against San Francisco. However, the last time Patrick Mahomes lost back-to-back games was last season in Weeks 2 and 3. We should expect Andy Reid and Co. to show up in what could be one of the best games in Week 7.

Browns vs. Ravens UNDER 46.5 (-110)

Most bettors and fans might think next Sunday's game between the Browns and Ravens could go OVER based on how both defenses have looked this season. The Browns are giving up 27.2 points per game and allowed opponents to score 30-plus points in three out of their past five games. Meanwhile, the Ravens are giving up 23.5 points per game. Furthermore, Cleveland has a record of 5-1 when it comes to overs this season, and Baltimore is 4-2 on unders.

With the way both teams can run the football, we should be looking out for the UNDER in this matchup. The Ravens are only allowing 20.3 points per game in their past three games, which includes holding Cincinnati and Buffalo to 17 and 20 points, respectively. The Browns have gotten punched in their mouths by the run over the past two weeks, but they won't have to see Austin Ekeler or Rhamondre Stevenson on Sunday. Take the UNDER, as these two rivals know each other well.
