Teams got their headliners on Day 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft. Now, it's time to add some depth pieces.

Gone are such stars as Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Will Anderson and more. And while they doubtless will be called on to be major contributors to their respective teams early in their careers, it's how teams draft on Days 2 and 3 that should have the biggest impact on their future success (or lack thereof).

And that's not to say there isn't still star power remaining on the board, either. Several potentially high-impact prospects remain to be taken, though their success could depend just as much on where they're taken as opposed to their own talent and ability.

It will be interesting to see how teams draft on Friday, either to complement the players they took in the first round or to address other areas of need. Five additional teams — the Dolphins, 49ers, Browns, Rams and Broncos — will also be making their first pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.

What time does the NFL Draft start today?

  • Round 2 start time: 7 p.m. ET

Friday's Round 2 starts at 7 p.m. ET. Round 3 will follow immediately after, with picks expected to end at around midnight.
