After a series of intense joint practices earlier in the week, the Lions and Dolphins will tangle at Ford Field in a preseason game on Saturday afternoon.
Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa called out his team after Wednesday's practice, noting that the Dolphins' performance was "frustrating." In last weekend's preseason opener, Tagovailoa completed five of his six pass attempts for 27 yards in his one series of action.
As for Detroit, former Tennessee standout Hendon Hooker and Kyle Allen have handled all of the preseason snaps. Both players are vying for the backup role to incumbent starter Jared Goff.
