Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt took a major step — or make that steps — on his comeback from a season-ending broken leg.

The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year posted a video on social media Tuesday of him walking on a treadmill, his first steps without crutches since the injury.

The video included the the overlaid words "Big day!!!" with a hashtag "#FirstSteps."
Watt is recuperating from a tibial plateau fracture in his left leg suffered Oct. 8 against the Chiefs.
