Chiefs and Eagles supporters hoping to show up at State Farm Stadium to watch Super Bowl 57 are in for some (relatively) good news.

After ticket prices steadily rose to near-record levels in the lead-up to the big game, they plummeted in the final two days leading up to Super Bowl 57, making it one of the more reasonably priced tickets to the game in recent years.

A single ticket will still run buyers multiple thousands of dollars, but it certainly is more manageable now than it was even days ago. The reason for that might be the fact both franchises have made the Super Bowl in recent years (Eagles in 2018, Chiefs in 2020 and 2021).

How much are Super Bowl tickets in 2023?

Data from TicketIQ indicate the average $5,596 price tag for a Super Bowl ticket is cheaper than in 2022. If that pricing holds, it would be the first time since the 1997 Super Bowl that ticket prices would drop over the previous season's prices ($350 in 1996 to $275 in 1997).

Most expensive Super Bowl 57 tickets

TicketSmarter's most expensive single ticket still available for Super Bowl 57 come in at $4,828. That ticket would place a spectator in the lower bowl at State Farm Stadium (Section 125, Row 33).

Cheapest Super Bowl 57 tickets

TicketSmarter's cheapest single ticket still available for the big game is $3,219; that would place the spectator in Terrace 433, Row 18 in the upper bowl.

How much did Super Bowl tickets cost in 2022?

Multiple reports indicate the lowest "on location" price for the 2022 Super Bowl in Inglewood, Calif., started at $5,823. The cheapest Super Bowl tickets from SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, StubHub and the NFL Exchange averaged out to $4,366.
