Two of the most electrifying quarterbacks in the NFL are set to go head-to-head to kick off their 2023 schedule. At least, they would have — if it weren't the preseason.

Jalen Hurts and the defending NFC champion Eagles will travel to Baltimore to take on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens for Week 1 of the preseason. As is tradition with the preseason, we may only see a few offensive series of these star QBs, but they're both must-see TV any time they take the field.

(Equally as likely, Hurts and Jackson — recipients of two massive contract extensions this offseason — will watch all the action from the sidelines).

The last time we saw Philadelphia in action, it fell to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57, 38-35. The last time we saw Baltimore in action, the Ravens — who were without their star quarterback at the time due to injury — lost to the divisional rival Bengals in a 24-17 Wild Card slugfest.
