The NFL will officially release the full 2025 schedule in one week's time. Between now and then, there will be plenty of speculation as to what that schedule will include.
One of the first things that is discussed with the schedule is the slate of international games, which seems to be increasing in number every year. This season, the league has planned seven of those games.
John Breech of CBS Sports decided to have some fun with the schedule and predict who will play in those international games and he has the Denver Broncos potentially playing in one of them.
Breech feels that will be the game played at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, scheduled for some time in November.
"The NFL has been holding games in Germany since 2022, but this will mark the first time that Berlin has hosted one. The four previous games in Germany have all had one thing in common: They've featured teams from the same conference, so that makes it feel like the Colts will play an AFC team. If the NFL goes that route, you can cross off the Dolphins, because they're playing in Spain, which leaves us two nondivisional AFC opponents.
Predicted opponent: Broncos or Raiders", wrote Breech.
The Colts have been confirmed as the team that will play in Germany this year, so putting them against either the Broncos or Raiders makes sense. The Broncos and Colts played in an entertaining game in Week 15 of last season, a 31-13 Broncos win.
The Broncos have an all-time record of 1-1 in international games dating back to 2007 when the series started. Both of those games were played at Wembley Stadium in London.
2010: 49ers 24, Broncos 16
2022: Broncos 21, Jaguars 17
Fans will be interested to see if the Broncos draw an international game when the schedule officially drops. Many fans within Broncos Country are anticipating the team playing overseas this season.
