The 49ers will host the Lions at Levi's Stadium this Sunday in the NFC Championship Game on FOX.

The 49ers earned the NFC's best record during the regular season, finishing 12-5. They won five games at home, but an impressive seven on the road to give themselves the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs.

The Lions finished with the third best record in the NFC, crowning themselves the NFC North champions for the first time since 1993. They also finished 12-5 during the regular season.

To get to the NFC championship, the 49ers had to overcome the Packers at home. They escaped, 24-21, after Jordan Love threw an interception late in the fourth quarter.

Lions defeated the Rams and former Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford at home, 24-23, in the wild-card round. They then overcame the piping-hot Buccaneers and Baker Mayfield, 31-23, at home in the divisional round.

Jared Goff has the second most yards for any quarterback in the postseason, tossing for 564 yards in two games. Aidan Hutchinson leads defensive players with 3.0 sacks this postseason.

Despite playing one game, Dre Greenlaw intercepted the ball twice against the Packers, leading the postseason in that category. Against the Packers, quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 252 yards and one touchdown. Christian McCaffrey ran for two touchdowns.
