Will Jets trade Mike Williams?
The Jets plan to make Williams available for trade, per Schultz.
The news comes hours after first reports of New York acquiring Adams and less than one day after QB Aaron Rodgers called Williams out for an interception during a late drive in the Jets' three-point loss to the Bills on "Monday Night Football."
With under two minutes remaining and the Jets down 23-20, Rodgers' pass to Williams was intercepted by Buffalo's Taron Johnson.
While Williams fell on the play, Rodgers told the media that the receiver ran the wrong route and was in the wrong spot.
"Allen [Lazard] is down the seam, Mike [Williams is] down the red line. [Allen] puts his hands up. Three guys go with him. So I'm throwing a no-look to the red line," Rodgers explained. "And when I just peek my eyes back there, he's running an in-breaker. So, it's gotta be down the red line."
