The New York Jets might look to bolster their offense through the draft to help new starting QB Justin Fields.

But they might also have a path toward using draft picks in trades to upgrade offensively.

ESPN's Bill Barnwell put together a mock trade proposal to do just that.

In the deal, the Jets would send away the No. 7 pick for the Falcons' No. 15 pick, a 2026 third-rounder and tight end Kyle Pitts.

Pitts is a former top-five pick who hasn't improved upon a promising rookie season.

The Jets currently only have Jeremy Ruckert and Stone Smartt at tight end.

Pitts has one year left on his deal but could be transition tagged for 2026, Barnwell writes.

The Falcons very well might want to move on from Pitts after a disappointing tenure, and the Jets might be well positioned to take advantage.
