These are the kind of things that only happen to the New York Jets.
Training camp just started this week, but potential disaster has already struck.
New QB Justin Fields had to be carted to the locker room Thursday morning.
"Justin Fields is being taken inside on a cart," beat reporter Brian Costello wrote on X. "He pulled up during a play in team drills and has had his leg being checked since."
Jets fans are holding their breath that this isn't a major injury.
If it is, Tyrod Taylor steps into the spotlight.

The veteran backup was even a Pro Bowler back in his time with the Buffalo Bills, but it's been a while.
He's a steady, accurate passer who still has some mobility. He likely can run most of the offense the Jets were installing for Fields.
But the turnaround in New York was meant to center around Fields running himself, handing to Breece Hall, and throwing to Garrett Wilson and Mason Taylor.
If the injury is serious, and this is now Tyrod Taylor's show? Everything becomes a little less exciting for New York.
