Giants' Dexter Lawrence gets $20 million contract update image

Dexter Lawrence has turned himself into a star for the New York Giants.

They've rewarded the gregarious defensive tackle with some new contract incentives.

Lawrence was due to make $17 million in 2025. The Giants have added $3 million in incentives to his contract, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Although it's not clear what the incentives are, Lawrence now has the chance to earn up to $20 million this year.

The 27-year old Lawrence is a three-time Pro Bowler since the Giants chose him 17th overall in 2019 out of Clemson.

He appeared in just 12 games in 2024 but still sent a career-high in sacks with 9.0.

For his career, Lawrence has played 92 games and has 310 tackles with 30.0 sacks.

At 6-foot-4, 340 pounds and armed with the nickname Sexy Dexy, Lawrence is an easy guy for Giants fans to root for. And now if he has a special season, he can make himself even a bit more cash.
