Giants' Abdul Carter reveals he won't get a haircut until he accomplishes this milestone image

Abdul Carter is worried that he's "looking a lil rough."

But the New York Giants rookie isn't ready to change that yet.

You see, he doesn't want to get a haircut until he records a sack. He shared that plan with his fans in a post on X on Wednesday morning:

It might be important to find out if Carter means a preseason sack or a regular season sack. Because it's four weeks until the regular season even starts.

If he means preseason, though, it could be coming soon.

Carter made his NFL preseason debut on Saturday in Buffalo and lived in the Bills' backfield in his brief stint. He had three quarterback pressures on single-digit snaps.

He's got high expectations, of course. Carter was the No. 3 overall pick out of Penn State, and in part because of the collegiate connection, he has been called the next Micah Parsons.

Carter certainly has captured the imagination during training camp. It seems like every video highlight posted from Giants camp is of Carter leaving an offensive lineman in the dust.

Pretty soon, that'll be the other team that Carter is racing around to get after the QB.

And now, he's providing himself with more incentive to get the job done.

Most photographs of Carter show a young man with a fresh, well-done cut. He definitely values that look, and so count on him to notch that sack sooner rather than later, the first of many.
