Brandin Cooks' return to New Orleans was marked by a punch.
The veteran wide receiver marked the start of training camp by getting into the first fight of Saints camp.
"Saints WR Brandin Cooks just got into a brief scuffle with essentially the entire defense after an incomplete pass in the end zone," writes beat reporter Mike Triplett.

Cooks, who will turn 32 in September, is beginning his 12th NFL season.
He was the No. 20 overall pick by the Saints in 2014. Then he spent his first three seasons with New Orleans, totaling 215 catches for 2,861 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Cooks has since played for the Patriots, Rams, Texans and Cowboys.
And now he's back, with New Orleans hoping he adds a veteran presence for whichever young QB (Tyler Shough or Spencer Rattler) wins the quarterback competition.
This won't be the last fight of NFL training camps, but it set the tone early that Cooks is ready to bring the intensity.
