The New England Patriots' fanbase took a collective gasp on Monday when video hit social media.
There was star cornerback Christian Gonzalez, limping off the field.
It's not what anyone would want to see.

ESPN's Mike Reiss provided the explanation for what happened:
"CB Christian Gonzalez has departed practice and has headed to the athletic training shed under his own power after covering WR Stefon Diggs on a crossing route in an early snap of 11-on-11 drills. Appeared to be something related to his leg."

It sounds, probably, like it could've been worse.
But it's also something that no one wants to see. Gonzalez has developed into one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.
Even a slight injury worry for him is bad for New England.
There should be an update soon, and hopefully, this isn't a big deal.
