The Miami Dolphins have had a string of bad injury luck over the last several weeks. Cornerback Kader Kohou was lost for the year with a leg injury. Defensive tackle Zach Sieler is also dealing with an injury at the moment. And now, another one of Miami's stars will miss time.
According to head coach Mike McDaniel, running back De'Von Achane has a soft tissue injury. McDaniel said the injury will keep him out between "days and weeks." The silver lining is that McDaniel said he doesn't expect this to effect Achane's availability for Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Don't be surprised, though, if the Dolphins hit the open market to bring in another running back as insurance. Former Bengals running back Zack Moss is available and could be a name to circle as the regular season draws near.
