The Kansas City Chiefs, in disappointing fashion, lost the Super Bowl in February.

But those Chiefs have also just picked up an invite from President Donald Trump to join him at the White House.

To be clear, the President isn't inviting the Chiefs as losers.

Rather, it's an invite to make up for 2020 when they could not visit the White House after their Super Bowl win due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Reuters.

This year's Super Bowl champion Eagles have already been invited to the White House, as well.

The last time the Eagles won, in 2018, they opted not to go to the White House after President Trump's invitation.

The Chiefs went to the White House each of the past two seasons to visit Joe Biden after back-to-back Super Bowl wins. They couldn't complete the three-peat, but maybe it'll be a three-peat of visits to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
