It seemed like Trevor Lawrence was giving critics reason for concern during the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 2 preseason game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. He had a difficult start but bounced back strongly in the limited time he played.
Lawrence's day began with a costly fumble on the opening drive.

Despite this setback, he showed efficiency over the few minutes he played. Lawrence completed eight of 10 passes for 76 yards, including a 7-yard touchdown pass to Parker Washington.

According to The Florida Times-Union's Garry Smits, "Lawrence used five receivers and the Jags mixed in 32 rushing yards for 108 yards of offense. They converted all three of their third-down plays."
Lawrence is entering a pivotal season under first-year head coach Liam Coen. So, this preseason is important for him to settle the pressure before the regular season kicks off.
