Lions-Dolphins joint practice sees first injury after defender is carted off image

The Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins are taking part in their first of two joint practices and there is one injury to report.

According Travis Wingfield of MiamiDolphins.com, Dolphins edge rusher Chop Robinson exited practice early on a cart. His exact injury and the extent of it is unknown as of this writing.

Drafted by the Dolphins in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft, Robinson played in all 17 games for Miami last season and finished with 26 combined tackles, eight tackles for loss, four passes defensed and six sacks.

The Lions and Dolphins will hold their second joint practice on Thursday before the two teams square off in preseason Week 2 on Saturday at Ford Field, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
