The Denver Broncos have been completely turned around by head coach Sean Payton. From a floundering team fighting to stay out of last place in the division to a bona fide contender in just two years.
One of the more memorable things Sean Payton did while coaching the New Orleans Saints was taking Taysom Hill, a player cast aside by the Green Bay Packers, and turning him into one of the more unique weapons the league has ever seen.
Payton had Hill play quarterback, running back, tight end, wide receiver, fullback, and even had him line up as the personal protector on punts. Hill has the versatility to be plugged in just about anywhere, and Payton has the creative mind to envision it.
If Payton were to get a shot to add Hill to the Broncos' roster, it would be a huge surprise if he didn't. That option could soon be on the table right in front of him.

Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report listed some of the top names he expects to be on the roster bubble as teams trim their rosters to 53 players before the season starts, and Hill is on that list. Sobleski even mentions a potential reunion between him and Payton.
"The experiment is nearing its end. After years of trying to figure out exactly what Taysom Hill would be as part of the New Orleans Saints offense, he's reached the point where his value financially no longer intersects with his projected contributions to the team.
Hill, who continues to recuperate from a torn ACL he suffered in December, hasn't participated in any of the team's offseason program and may not be ready for the start of the regular season.
For the Saints, the idea of keeping the soon-to-be 35-year-old veteran with his price tag doesn't seem feasible regarding a team that's clearly starting a rebuild. New Orleans can cut Hill and save $10 million toward the 2025 salary cap, which can be rolled toward the following season since the Saints are once again in the red for initial projections.
Besides, the organization has plenty of talent at multiple spots to offset Hill's loss. Granted, tight end is particularly thin at the moment, hence the Saints' recent flirtation with Noah Fant before he signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. Also, Foster Moreau has yet to be cleared as well. But Juwan Johnson and Moreau are more than enough at tight end, while a young player can make the roster and contribute on special teams.
Maybe Hill can rejoin Sean Payton as part of the Denver Broncos if/when the Saints decide to go in another direction."
Though Hill has been productive in the league, at 35 years old and rehabbing an injury, his market likely wouldn't be very active and could include just the interest of Payton. However, adding him to a growing offense with Bo Nix, an enhanced running game with J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey and a passing attack that added Evan Engram, the Mile High City could be the perfect place for Hill to finish his career.
