The Denver Broncos used their second-round pick on a running back in the draft, but it wasn't one many fans expected to see them take.

That pick was used on UCF star RJ Harvey. On Sunday, Mike Klis of 9News got a chance to speak with the rookie, getting some more insight into who he is. You can read the full interview here, but here are some of the more interesting questions and answers.

Klis: News just broke about you guys signing J.K. Dobbins.

Harvey: “I’m excited to be in the room with him. He’s a vet. He’s been in the league for about, what, five, six years now? I’m excited to get to learn from him and all the other guys as well. I feel like we’ve got a great room. People sleeping on us right now but we’re going to wake everybody up this year.”

Klis: The toughest lesson you’ve learned so far about being a pro?

Harvey: “Toughest lesson? I would say be on time. I’m always on time, but make sure you’re on time and we’ve got to work every day because they’re always trying to replace you. Just got to come out and work every day and prove to everybody you’re their guy.”

Klis: Tell the viewers and readers what’s unique about you as a player and a person.

Harvey: “As a player, I‘m a winner. I want to win every single game. Every snap I want to go out there and just dominate. That’s just my mindset, to dominate every snap.

“And as a person, I’m humble. I’m laid back. I don’t speak much. And I love bowling.”

Klis: Really. What’s your best game?

Harvey: “I got up to like 210, something like that. A lot of my friends, they’ve got the suitcase with the bag. I don’t have that yet, but I’m going to get it, though.’’

Klis: So you just pick a ball out of the rack?

Harvey: “Yeah, I just pick one out of the rack. I’ll get my own one day.”

The Broncos hope that Harvey can be a bowling ball in their rushing attack, knocking over defenders the same way he does pins when he enjoys a game of bowling.

Harvey should be able to absorb quite a bit of knowledge from Dobbins as well. The tandem, put together out of nowhere, has a chance to be considerably more effective than what the Broncos had last year with Javonte Williams leading the charge.
