The Denver Broncos have concluded their first minicamp of the offseason and it led to the team signing four new players from a long list of those who tried out for the team.
The Broncos brought in veterans such as Ian Book and Chris Evans for a shot to join the roster, but the only veteran to land a contract was tight end Cole Fotheringham. In addition, the team also brought back long snapper Zach Triner just days after letting him go.
Two undrafted free agents, linebacker Jordan Turner and wide receiver Kyrese White were also given contracts.
White played his college ball at Utah State while Turner was a three-star recruit who played at Wisconsin and Michigan State. Fotheringham went undrafted out of Utah in 2022 and has played for the Raiders and Texans. He has one career catch for six yards.
The Broncos added the veteran tight end to the depth chart while cutting another Utah tight end, Thomas Yassmin, to make room for him. The other players cut by the Broncos to make room on the 90-man roster were linebacker K.J. Cloyd, defensive back Kendall Bohler and defensive lineman Christian Dowell.
Bohler and Dowell were part of this season's undrafted free-agent class and spent just over two weeks on the Broncos' roster. All four players will look to catch on with a different team before training camps open later this summer.
