Dak Prescott had the most entertaining pre-snap cadence in football for the Dallas Cowboys.
Here we gooooo!
It sounds like that won't be the case anymore.
The cadence is a QB's way of timing up the offense's snap. Aaron Rodgers has always said "Green 18," for example.
The words aren't actually that crucial. Some teams try to have an element of deception in them, and some are pretty straightforward.
Prescott's is clearly pretty literal, but it doesn't have to be.

The point is more about the rhythm than anything else.
Regardless, Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters it would probably change this season, in part because the other Dallas QBs couldn't match Prescott's ability at making the call.
We won't have to wait long into the season to see the scoop.
The Cowboys play on the opening Thursday night against the Eagles. Will Prescott yell out "here we go" or some entirely different phrase? We'll just have to tune in.
