Deuce Vaughn's roster spot in Dallas might be in jeopardy.
The Cowboys brought in four new running backs this offseason, two veterans and two rookies.
That means Vaughn, the diminutive former Kansas State star, has to try his best to find a way onto the team.
Turns out he's getting snaps at wide receiver, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Nick Harris.
Vaughn is a fascinating choice as a possible WR. He's only 5-foot-6, for starters. You're definitely not throwing him jump balls.
But he is shifty as heck and explosive with the football in his hands. As a slot guy on short screens and other routes like that, Vaughn could work.

He was picked in the sixth round in 2023.
In two NFL seasons, Vaughn has rushed 40 times for 110 yards and also caught 10 passes for 58 yards.
If this doesn't work, he's a strong cut candidate.
So for Vaughn's sake, he's certainly hoping that he's got the wide receiver skills that could make him versatile and indispensable.
