In the short time that Andrew Berry answered questions on Thursday, the subject of Quinshon Judkins came up quickly.  The No. 36 pick of the 2025 draft was arrested in Florida on July 12th and remains unsigned at this point.

When asked about the status, Berry elaborated that any decision about Judkins would take time, and it was too early to make a determination.  Both Kevin Stefanski and Berry said the team takes these situations seriously and they will continue to gather information.

This situation appears it will take more time to play out, compared to the Michael Hall Jr. situation that happened last year.  It is important to note that Hall had signed his rookie deal and already been at camp, but one day after being arrested for a domestic violence charge, he returned to practice.  Hall would go on to receive a five-game suspension.

With Nick Chubb moving on from the organization and Jerome Ford already returning from an injury, the Browns' running back room is set to start the season rather thin on the depth chart if Judkins isn’t signed.
