As the Cleveland Browns conclude joint practices today with the Philadelphia Eagles and prepare for their Week 2 preseason game in Philadelphia on Saturday, Kevin Stefanski had no clear answers on the quarterback situation Thursday morning.

Remember, Deshaun Watson is still recovering from and Achilles injury, Joe Flacco will rest for the game and get his reps in joint practice, Kenny Pickett is still nursing a hamstring and only participated in 7-on-7 drills yesterday, Shedeur Sanders tweaked his oblique in the very beginning of practice yesterday and “unlikely” to play per Stefanski, and Dillon Gabriel returned to his first real practice yesterday and also has a question mark on his availability on Saturday.

That leaves you with Tyler “Snoop” Huntley as your sixth and only quarterback that is 100% available on Saturday.  When asked on Thursday if Huntley could play the whole game, Stefanski answered, “Everything’s on the table”.

Could the Browns bring in a seventh quarterback to get through the preseason?  While it’s unlikely that Andrew Berry wants to go that route, there is a real possibility that it could be the outcome if Gabriel is not 100% and unable to play on Saturday.  IF Gabriel is healthy, expect to see the same format as last week, where Gabriel plays the whole first half and a few series in the third quarter with Huntley finishing out the game.

Similar to Huntley, if another quarterback is brought in, it will be to get through camp and the preseason with a high likelihood of not carrying them into the season.
