Shedeur Sanders will have eyes on him the rest of the summer.
The Cleveland Browns' fifth-round rookie quarterback was polarizing even before he fell to pick No. 144 of the NFL Draft. After that, the Colorado great became even more intriguing, even for his haters.
He's in a fascinating QB competition, too. The Browns also have Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel, and it feels wide open.
The Athletic's Zac Jackson has revealed the three things Sanders needs to do to have a chance to stick around and maybe even win the job:
"Sanders will have to show he’s capable of commanding the huddle, mastering the playbook and avoiding some of the mistakes against pressure that evaluators didn’t like from his college tape."

No one questions Sanders' accuracy. He threw for a 74% completion percentage in his final year at Colorado, and he showed off that precision and touch during the Browns' offseason activities.
The Browns will need to trust that Sanders can lead and can limit mistakes. If he is able to prove that sooner rather than later, he could legitimately win the job.
