Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel took a jab at the Browns and the city of Cleveland when he appeared on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast earlier this month.
The former first-round pick said that he hated Cleveland, and then the city made him even more depressed than he already was.
"I hated Cleveland so much," Manziel said. "And I know that's going to be tough to hear. That place aided to my depression for sure."
To the surprise of many, former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson came to the defense of Cleveland.
"I would never blame the city," Johnson said on Nightcap. "The city's not an excuse. I've been to Cleveland before. I love Cleveland."
While the Bengals and Browns have a rivalry on the field, it's clear there is a respect from the former Pro Bowl receiver towards the Browns and the city of Cleveland.
