Tetairoa McMillan first catch: Panthers' rookie makes brilliant grab from Bryce Young to start career image

Welcome to the NFL, Tetairoa McMillan.

The Carolina Panthers' rookie wide receiver was the No. 8 overall pick in April's NFL Draft out of Arizona.

And on Friday night, he made his first catch of the preseason, and it was a great one.

Bryce Young found Tet down the right sideline for a 29-yard gain.

McMillan was a monster collegiately for the Wildcats, and that combined with an immense skillset made him the first WR off the draft board.

As an Arizona sophomore, McMillan had 90 catches for 1,402 yards and 10 touchdowns.

As a junior, he added 84 grabs for 1,139 yards and eight TDs.

McMillan can run any route and make any catch.

He proved it right away in his NFL preseason debut.

McMillan added a shifting catch on the left side of the field on the following drive.

It's clear Young liked looking his way, and McMillan made Young and the rest of the Panthers look good in his first impression on an NFL stage.
