The Buffalo Bills made some roster moves Tuesday morning to try and get through the remainder of the preseason intact and potentially have depth in case injuries carry toward the regular season.
They had to place running back Darrynton Evans on injured reserve, and they waived wide receiver Kaden Prather and cornerback Te'Cory Couch.
Into two of the open roster spots, the Bills signed running back Jarveon Howard and wide receiver Grant DuBose.
Howard is likely just a depth signing to get some work in the final preseason game, and if he plays well enough, he could always snag a practice squad spot.

He's a sturdy back, listed at 215 pounds, who played most of his college career at Syracuse before going to Alcorn State.
Howard spent time with the Packers after going undrafted in 2024, although he didn't see regular season action.
He also played this spring for the St. Louis Battlehawks in the UFL.
DuBose is a 6-foot-2 wide receiver. He was the No. 256 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Charlotte. He had begun his college career at Division II Miles College.

In the NFL, he has seen regular season action for the Packers and the Dolphins. DuBose has a pair of regular season catches for 11 total yards.
The Bills are still without star WR Khalil Shakir due to injury. DuBose will likely see a lot of work Saturday, and from there, the practice squad might be his best hope, as well.
At worst, the Bills get a look at two players who they could bring back down the road if the roster gets beat up in short order. It's never a bad thing to get new faces in the building and get an up close evaluation of them.
