Kaden Elliss has grown in a big way in his last couple NFL seasons.
In the process, the Atlanta Falcons linebacker has proven to be pretty indispensable.
That also means the Falcons are facing a key decision. Elliss' contract is up after this season.
That could result in a franchise tag next offseason if a long-term contract isn't immediately forthcoming.
According to Pro Football Network, the linebacker franchise tag value for 2026 offseason could end up around $28 million. That'd be fair for Elliss while the Falcons figure out if they can keep him longer.

In 2024, Elliss had a career-high 151 tackles. He added five sacks.
Among high-tackle linebackers, Elliss may be the best blitzer in the league. Atlanta mixes up his usage in a strong way.
If he has another season like the one he just had, Elliss is going to get paid one way or the other.
