The Arizona Cardinals are hoping to see a revival of sorts to their offense in 2025.
Kyler Murray will be asked to facilitate the unit at his command, with last year’s first-round selection Marvin Harrison Jr., tight end Trey McBride and wideout Michael Wilson as primary receiving threats, alongside running backs James Conner and Trey Benson.

While McBride has emerged as one of the top tight ends in the league and Wilson appears to be a breakout candidate, there’s still more to be desired from Harrison after just one season.
Harrison finished his rookie campaign with 885 yards and eight touchdowns. However, he showed flashes late, totaling 11 receptions for 159 yards and two touchdowns in his final two games.
Harrison, of course, comes from a long line of highly touted Ohio State receivers taking over the league. And next season, he could be joined by one of his former Buckeyes teammates, according to Stadium Rant’s Ian Ritter.
“Carnell Tate may not be as talented as teammate Jeremiah Smith, but his excellent route running and hands should make him the first receiver off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft,” Ritter wrote. “Tate recorded 52 catches for 733 yards and four touchdowns during his sophomore campaign, and should improve on those numbers this season. He’ll make a fitting complement to Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride in the Arizona Cardinals’ aerial attack.”

Tate has often been overlooked due to the presence of Harrison, this year’s first-round pick Emeka Egbuka, and now Jeremiah Smith. Still, he’s been highly productive in his two seasons at Ohio State and is poised for another standout year in 2025.
What complicates the projection is that Ritter has the Cardinals selecting Tate at No. 15 overall in next year’s draft. That would likely signal another playoff miss—their fourth straight—and could raise questions about Murray’s long-term future in Arizona.
Then again, it could simply mean the Cardinals are just one more elite weapon away from breaking through.
