Ohio State loses 4-star homegrown recruit in shocking flip to Bill Belichick's UNC image

The Ohio State Buckeyes football program isn't used to a flip like this one.

A flip from OSU to North Carolina?

No way, right?

Well, now that Bill Belichick is in Chapel Hill, it can happen.

It did on Wednesday.

Four-star safety recruit Jakob Weatherspoon is now longer coming to Columbus. He plans to be a Tar Heel.

Making matters worse is that Weatherspoon is from Avon, Ohio. That's east of Cleveland, only a couple hours from Columbus even if you drive slow.

But the allure of Belichick's program must've just been too much, and so the Buckeyes lost a home-state recruit.
