Michigan football has landed four-star wide receiver Zion Robinson as a part of the Wolverines' 2026 recruiting class.

Robinson becomes the 14th commit of the Wolverines' 2026 recruiting cycle and could prove to be an important wide receiver down the line for Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood.

Robinson committed to the Wolverines over Stanford, Miami, and Nebraska. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver from Mansfield High School in Texas will be entering his senior year this season.

Robinson is ranked as the 6th-best receiver in the country and the No. 71 overall player for the 2026 recruiting class according to 247Sports. Robinson becomes the sixth commitment for Michigan’s 2026 class, which ranks inside the Top247 and is the highest ranked member of the class.

Robinson can be a threat on any part of the field for the Wolverines as he runs a 4.46 forty, a 10.7 100-meter, and a 6-8 high jump.

“I’m someone who can stretch the field very fast vertically. I’d say I’m good when it comes to ball skills and pretty good after the catch. And I won’t go down with the first tackle," Robinson said.

An aspect of Michigan’s team that brought Robinson to the decision to commit to the Wolverines was the vision of the offense being implemented by offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey.

“I think they are going to throw the ball more, move me around the slot, outside, all that,” Robinson said. “They’re going to use me everywhere.

In the past, Michigan has been known more for sticking to the ground game on offense. With the addition of Robinson, it looks like that may change.
