There are a few very intriguing situations for the Micah Parsons saga to play out.
Parsons, an ex-Penn State star, has requested a trade from the Dallas Cowboys. In his defense, Parsons understands that he's one of the top two to three edge rushers in the NFL, if not the best by a decent margin, because of his age.
However, the Cowboys are being stingy and don't want to give him the money he's looking for.
Parsons took matters into his own hands on Friday by requesting a trade, and now some have suggested that it's possible he could join a new team, despite other reports believing that the Cowboys won't move on from him until they have to.

One team that could make sense for him is the Detroit Lions, pairing him with Aidan Hutchinson, a former Michigan standout. Parsons and Hutchinson would be going from ex-rivals to teammates, something that would certainly intrigue many around the NFL.
When looking at that situation, USA Today recently named the Lions one of the top landing spots for the multi-time All-Pro, adding Hutchinson's health as a major factor.
“The Super Bowl window is open in Motor City,” Charles Curtis wrote. “Aidan Hutchinson is coming back from that horrible injury, so why not add another body to rush the QB?”
Given that Hutchinson is expected to be fully healthy at the start of this season and should play a significant role in the Lions' success, there isn't much of a reason for them to be frugal with a trade and money.
If they want to move on from the picks and believe that Parsons would be the player they need, they should do something that would be talked about for a very long time by forming this duo.
